Nowadays the best known PSX emulators are PSEmu Pro, ePSXe, PCSX, AdriPSX and FPSE (and there are even more freeware psx emus in development :), and most of them can use the PSEmu Pro plugin system. I can't use the Timer setting with the Eternal SPU because of what I think is latency issues. It's based on the Pete's CDR plugin 1.11. Not sure about using the mouse as an analog control, never tried it. While running the epsxe menu go at config->sound and you will see this window. Also smf of the MAME/MESS fame is doing a great job with psx based emulation lately, so keep an eye at that emus if you are a fan of 'pure' (VGS alike) psx emulation. ePSXe help - Pete's sound plugin : This plugin has a very nice sound, but it isn't the fastest plugin. Pete's MIDAS Audio SPU Version 1.7 (118 KByte Zip-File) - improved spu irq support, faster sample decoding, changed sample loop detection.
